I really like the idea of an AI inbox as a way to centralize and manage the actions and decisions the AI makes especially in both autopilot and copilot modes which is interesting. It could solve the current issue of sending notifications through emails or other scattered methods which feel vague
Some additional thoughts I am thinking -
The inbox could include an option to toggle between autopilot and copilot mode on a task-by-task basis giving users more granular control over AI actions
I think it could be helpful to categorize messages in the inbox e.g. Pending Confirmation,
Completed Actions,
Errors/Alerts
to make it easier for users to navigate
If AI requests pile up, having a feature for users to approve/reject multiple actions at once i.e.... Batch Approvals and a daily or weekly summary of AI actions in the inbox would provide users with an overview without needing to check constantly
Excited to see how this evolves and contribute towards it!
@varshith257 thanks for the ideas!
i did it, would love any feedback on it
currently there is no actions but you can put markdown in the content and trigger action like link
like inbox, a daily summary is a concept i’ve been thinking about. having a summarized snapshot of my day so i can quickly get back to what i need to finish, follow up on, or otherwise take some action on. what about an “activities” button or icon (like the inbox idea). screenpipe does its best to remove noise, summarize the activities i’ve been working on for today, and guide me to my next next best action based on the context it has about my day. this concept feels like it might be upstream of the inbox idea, which it sounds like more action approval focused.

+1
just brain dumping something (maybe duplicate)
AI products often are either in autopilot or copilot mode
autopilot: no human just do things
copilot: ask confirmation to human
regardless i think it would make sense to have a screenpipe inbox, just as Linear or Notion have inboxes
messages would be mostly AI asking confirmation on actions it can take or actions it took
i think it would solve one of the current pain faced by pipes atm which we're trying to send mails or notification but it's kinda bad
i'm thinking on taking this task in upcoming days, please brain dump any thoughts
