How to contribute? #217

I would like to contribute to this project to help make it better. Unfortunately, there is no CONTRIBUTING.md file or some kind of description in README.md on how to contribute.

So if you need any help, just tell me what to do (or better: create an issue and assign me) and I'm gonna look what I can do :)

There is the v2 branch. I haven't done anything for a while. I have to get it up to date, most likely start partly from 0 (at least the client) and then we can see what you could do.

For v1: just do whatever you want :D if it's useful, I'll merge it.

@bagbag Is this project still maintained? I think the best way would be to start all over again with a proper API. I'd be happy to help
