Doesn't download anything since a few days #358

Hi, I am using the latest version from F-Droid. On Monday I was downloading several shows in parallel when WLAN broke down a few times. Since than the downloads were stuck - waiting to be restarted and no new downloads could be started.

Downloading with Seal/yt-dlp works.

Tried canceling the downloads, deleting app data still doesn't work.

Any idea? TIA

Some reboots later it worked again.. for a few hours. Same problem again and no idea how to fix. Sharing and downloading or playing in browser works but I would need Zapp to select quality and get subtitles.

I have downloaded "Download Navi" from F-Droid and use it to download the video Urls that I get from Zapp. Only problem the file name doesn't reflect the name of the show.

I cannot reproduce your problem, but maybe your device was low on storage? It might be that the download worker behaves weirdly when storage is low.

Pretty abundant storage. Meanwhile I resorted to downloading via Download Navi which works quite well.. just a little more steps to do.

Also.. the desktop version can download extra subtitle Files, doesn't seem to work in the Android version?

Is there some way to get more debugging info why it won't download?
