First of all,

thanks for the great app. It would be great and hopefully not much effort to persist the selected filters (e.g. minimum duration, selected TV stations etc)

I think that this feature request is a duplicate of Issue 303. Yes, it is. I have an idea of how to implement this, but limited resources. I'll close this issue as duplicate.
