Currently Muting is being used for temporary relocations (adult is away on vacation or for work, child is away at boarding school, etc...) as well as permanent relocations (person or family moved to a completely different area). Muting was primarily designed for temporary relocations and it can handle a lot of those needs already. We've heard a lot of user feedback and seen a lot of challenges around managing patients who have permanently relocated. Further context here (internal link).
Part of this work should also include just documenting and providing examples of how to achieve different types of moves. For example... it's already possible to move a person from one household to another household within the same CHW Area, yet there isn't a broad understanding of how to do this.
