No incident in a db impacts another db
AWS costs do not increase more than $1000 per month

Initiatives

[ ] Understand issues with current setup
[ ] Documented plan for better architecture
[ ] Implement plan and test on a single project
[ ] Migrate all projects

Overview

Using RDBMS as a single postgres server for all projects is no longer suitable because,

issues with one project can destabilize another
it's difficult to grant namespaced access
it's on an old version of postgres and hard to upgrade

Explore and plan for a transition which works for all users.
