There are two Team Strategies & Initiatives that this OKR applies to:
Self ownership through extreme ease of use
Empower community innovation through plugins and safe configuration and upgrades
The vision is to find a deployment (or deployments!) that have a unique need that is not currently being met by the the CHT Core features. Allies will then build the minimum viable product (MVP) plugin framework enabling the deployment to fill this missing gap with a plugin that leverages the framework.
While being a MVP and only supporting the single plugin, it will still enable other deployments to use that same plugin framework.
Dec update: this will likely focus on user management on a national scale.
Early Feb update: we're looking to focus on OAuth and OIDC as a way of helping user management tool authenticate users
Early Mar update: With teammate holiday schedule AND Medic all hands meetup AND the lack of strong benefit of OAuth AND the existing User Man. Tool needs, we're going to focus on improving APIs to help implement user management plugin - see next item for specifics
Late Mar update: See general status of tickets on the Allies project board, but this ticket included work on:
