OS X Installer is not working #8

Steps to replicate:

Run installer.
Open test/Example.txt in TextEdit.
Words that are in our dictionary are not recognised.

Why is this happening?

Apple Spell not restarting?
Encoding of file is not correct?
Weird characters in the file causing problems?
