Not sharing location #242

App activated accidentally in my pocket, but I noticed it did NOT share my location. How do I fix this?

Make sure the app has the permission to use location: long-press the app icon from your device apps launcher and click the "i" icon. This opens a screen to check app info and control permissions among others.

If the location permission is given, then it might be your device's GPS chip that was not able to get a fix (position) in the period that is configured. This might be because the GPS connection was bad, you were underground, etc. There might be several causes. Another reason is that an accidental press on the button "skip without waiting GPS allocation" was made, thus leading to the message being sent without location.
