Emergency contact with duplicated phone numbers #78

On the left of the image, I have created a new contact entry with 2 phone numbers. The same number is used for both. In edition mode, both numbers appear. However, after validation, when the contact profile is displayed from the default contact app, a single phone entry is displayed. Finally, if you add the contact in the Medical Notes section of Medical ID app, 2 entries appear.

Phone numbers are not filtered. It is an issue for some users who synchronise their contact with external services or have duplicated numbers due to a Whatapps entry for instance.

If I create a new contact it works fine. If I remove and re-add any of the contacts that I'm using the duplication returns. I then realized that of the 5 contacts that I was using one wasn't being duplicated and that contact is the only one not on Whatsapp. In my contacts app a Whatsapp logo displays for those that use it. If you click on it their mobile number is defined there as well.
