This is a regression of an unrelated change in 45c282cd1d76e75630d011b31dbe4f2aca0c949a:

var person = new PersonModel(jid, pres.From.Resource, NetworkID, Protocol, this);
var person = new XmppPersonModel(jid, pres.From.Resource, this);

Please introduce the original version to avoid further yet unnoticed regressions.
