Ability to comment on a selection of the transcript

Not selection, comments are single points in time, not ranges, or am I missing something?

OK. Yes that seems to be the way they work on the timeline view.

The front-end is now ready here—I console.log the value of a new comment. We now need to get the remaining necessary author data and save that altogether as the new comment thread, @Laurian.
