The Welcome page is where you post a contribution when you don't have another view where it belongs, or you don't know where it belongs. In this sense, it is a catch-all where you just write out a contribution.
While the view name, "Welcome" is proper during the first stages of KBing for a class, when they have more sophistication, it would be nice to have an easy way to switch its name from "Welcome" to, "For un-categorized contributions". It is not easy, now.
