Often I want students to discuss within their own research community -- their classroom. However, sometimes I want there to be wider opportunity for discussions (often more specialized discussions where there may be only a few members from each class).
I really like the "Community" model of kf6 but the "Group" method of making sub-communities seems to have significant limitations. Thus, I don't think it works to put all of my students (150) in 1 community, then make 5 groups w/in the community corresponding to my 5 classes, and have both group discussions and whole-community discussions.
Alternatively, make 5 communities corresponding to the 5 classes, then make a way to possibly stitch-together the 5 communities as needed to form a 'super-community'.
