It's still me. I made it to install and run Audacity on the container, but I can't record anything. I also have choppy sound when using YouTube in SeaMonkey.
Any update? My device is ZE551ML, Lollipop stock, Debian stable, XFCE, installed as folder, using XSDL, chroot container, I mounted storage folders for local and sd memory and I use pulseaudio.
By the way, I also can't use the cam and, despite I get a reasonable 60fps with GLXGears, Blender sucks even just at rotating the default cube.
Please, help.
Wow, you got a lot farther than me. I can't even get Audio working
Lol, yes. I forgot to mention, I installed libgl1-mesa-swx11 from the Jessie repo.
@WilsonBradley to enable sound, you must have a working configuration. This includes: Install XSDL (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=x.org.server), in the Linux Deploy configuration, enable PulseAudio in your profile's settings, then, in the GUI section in settings, use X11 as the graphic subsystem and check the "auto start xsdl" mark. Finally, if you already installed the system, use menu -> configure to change to actual settings, or if you didn't, menu -> install. You won't be able to hear any sound through VNC or the FrameBuffer.
P.S.: In the XSDL settings, you might want to disable "control mouse with gyroscope", under settings -> mouse emulation -> advanced features. You'll also want to set a reasonable resolution: my display is 1080x1920, and I use 1280x720 with 0.5 font scale.
Keep me posted.
Thanks so much.. Exactly what I was looking for. Relfashed a new Rom and lost all settings, so once I get around to setting up Linux Deploy again, will try your suggestions.
Thanks so much
Hello everyone. As in subject, everytime I use audio applications (namely LMMS or Audacity), my phone instantly reboots. Everything else is working just fine. Please, help.
