These are just ideas and more fixes than randomization, I have no clue how limited the coding is on this game.

1: Take the weakest move of every type, reduce its damage by X% but have it cost no or extremely low MP. Have every digimon know its corresponding type move by default, still togglable if you do not want it after learning enough techniques. This would hinder battles to turn into a waiting fest of reaching 'Finish', if possible apply to all wild digimon as well.

2: Make it so the digimon always keeps it species name instead of you naming it. Or is the character limit of the game for names too limited?

3: Add info to items like the super carrot and others that lack info of what they actually do. Might have the same issue as above, too limited text box.

4: Random wild digimon with rookie <-> rookie etc. Would make areas more interesting per playthrough. Would be even more fun if applying time of the day to the spawn pool a. Alternatively set new spawns per day/sleep.

5: Make poops on the ground disappear when you get a new fresh digimon.

6: Make it so final evolutions do not need to poop. Like in Digimon World: Next Order, encouraging progress when fully evolved.

7: A % slider to adjust the possible decrease/increase of power and cost of techniques
