Windows 8 #1

Hi!

I have done the download of rehab-game and I tried to run the binary on my computer, that is an Windows 8. Nothing happens, it doesn't run and even there isn't any error message. Is it compatible?

rehab-game is built on a Microsoft XNA framework. Considering XNA is no longer supported for Windows 8 and going forward, I suspect that is the reason you are not able to run this software. Honestly, I dint test it on Windows 8. I suggest you to run it on Windows 7 for a guaranteed uninterrupted experience. However, the software requires a standalone Wii Balance Board connected to the computer via a Bluetooth in order to play the game.

Hello fellow users of Shankar Meenkeri's Rehab-Game. I serve on his thesis committee at San Diego State University and I'm proud to report that "we" successfully loaded on my Windows 8.1 notebook computer yesterday and ran the code. Had to set up the BlueTooth to sync with my notebook, which was a little fussy, but eventually successful. Since Shankar is targetting this semester to complete his CS Masters Thesis, based on this Serious Game, I think you will be seeing updates in a while.
