Opportunity for future code simplification to have a common routine for similar str and repr methods with the different attribute names passed as parameters.

This is approved, but I do not have sufficient rights to merge it. (And I am not asking for them for this repo either.)

I couldn't tell if you wanted it merged or if it was still drafty. Here yeah, I have to safeguard this code pretty strictly. If you want full access to svgio there's no qualms there. It's half built but some of your notes are certainly getting put in there.
