There is so many different languages in the world, it is impossible to feasibly to check if the word is valid as a name for all languages. Since the target audience is Financial Advisors with mainly Singaporean clients, it is also rare for them to have clients of names from for example french origin.

Therefore, even if it is an issue, it would be a rare problem and thus we believe that this issue is of severity.Low.

As a user, I may have clients who may not have purely english names. The application does not allow for french characters to be input. This may not be a very common occurrence, but can hinder the adding of contact names for clients with names from other languages. This was not specified under the parameter constraints in the user guide, and some may assume that the letter é will also be accepted.

This is labelled as medium as it was not mentioned in the UG, and it may pose some real obstacles that have no ways of overcoming apart from changing the client's name. And over time, the user may forget if the client's name has those special characters. When it comes to important discussions or letters to be mailed to the person, the difference in naming may lead to further implications.
