multiple map sources? #6

Right now we use tiles made by Mapbox, out of OSM data. There are many options available, this link shows quite a few, but there certainly are more:

We might want to pick a few (3-4?) of them and allow users to switch. I think one with more detailed transport networks could be useful (if one exists), as could be a satellite image one.

Or is thisa feature that makes everything to complicated & that we should avoid?

sounds like a reasonable and nice idea =), I think transport networks, satellite, curent traffic and a cycle map might be neat --> in short we could have map layers for each type of transportation we would like to support
