In your source code you are web scraping from lexico site. So my question is this legal to use this on commercial projects?

you dont have to put out a policy statement against copyright violation lmao. Don't use this, use a legit API like wordnik.

API hosted on https://dictionaryapi.dev now uses Wiktionary and results now contain license under which results are.
