@annelopes Is there an equivalent available for psud students ?

annelopes commented 5 years ago

For now, you can dowload these databases here:

Swissprot

https://blast.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Blast.cgi?CMD=Web&PAGE_TYPE=BlastDocs&DOC_TYPE=Download here is the doc : ftp://ftp.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/blast/documents/blastdb.html.

Uniref:

https://www.uniprot.org/downloads

We are currently discussing with IFB the ppossibility to give you access to their cluster and their storage so that you could directly screen these db on their server. It takes time, sorry. We keep you in touch ASAP.

Dear Anne and Elodie, thanks for keeping us updated, I would like to suggest that the email for the students are flagged separately from the e-mails for the lecturers-examiners so that we do not get confused on our duties and we focus on the material we have to access without being flooded by mails that we may disregard as not relevant to us, I hope it makes sense, thanks a lot for all you effort in this, it is a great programme!

Best wishes ff
