Doesn't seem to crash for me, on version 5.7.0-beta.1. That's the latest version I can download from their GitHub. Could you provide more details about the crash?

I'm using a M1 Macbook Pro, OS X 11.4. It worked on the previous version of Franz with no issues, but after Franz updated, it just crashed on launch. I suspected it was the recipes, so I moved everything in ~/Library/Application\ Support/Franz/recipes/ to another folder, and tried launching, and it launched fine.

Since the MeWe recipe was the only one I added manually, I copied the old recipes/dev folder into my ~/Library/Application\ Support/Franz/recipes/ folder and Franz crashed on launch. I removed the dev folder, and Franz launched fine.

So my conclusion is that something with the plugin, or something with the dev add-ons doesn't work well with the latest version of Franz, maybe only on the M1 Macbooks?
