facilitate weekly bookings

Dear devel-team of mrbs, thank you for your wonderful tool.

My school starts running mrbs to be used by colleagues. Now, starting a new term, it is my task, to enter all regular bookings from our general time table.

While AJAX makes multiple bookings quite easy, it takes still many steps to enter one single lesson: I have to select

• weekly
• day of week (which could be taken from starting/first entry, actually)
• end of the series (approx. 4 clicks to get 2013, jan 30)

If you miss one click, the entire booking was in vain (no error message?). I thought I could just limit the amount of repetitions to 20, but in this case, exceeding bookings are not clipped, but again, my booking gets lost.

Suggestion:

• Define default end date for weekly series
• allow using the "amount of periodic bookings" field as alternative to end date
• read day of week from start date.

Good ideas. I'm planning to make some improvements to the booking form in September, so watch this space.
