MRBS shouldn't have anything to do with MFA, that's a function of an Identity Provider (IdP) not a Service Provider.

MRBS does have a community-supported SAML session/auth scheme, which utilises SimpleSAMLphp.

It looks similar like #3636 the request for an api.
