Describe the bug

After installing ReviOS when I boot the computer for the first time, fingerprint does not work. However after logging in, when I lock the device, I can easily unlock the device. Using Lenovo Yoga X1 Gen 8 Laptop.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install ReviOS (On a Laptop)
  2. Register Fingerprint
  3. Shutdown the machine
  4. Boot The OS
  5. Try using Fingerprint Login.

Expected behavior

It should work smoothly.

Unfortunately, I don't have a computer with a fingerprint scanner, therefore finding a solution would be difficult.

I don't have any assumptions regarding to which registry changes causes it, I think it's more related to components removal. If possible, please run PowerShell as administrator and enter the following command:

& 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Revision Tool\revitool.exe' winpackage --uninstall system-components-removal

Restart and see if it gets fixed.
