wrap in mobile boilerplate and make offline capable?

• i forked the mobile boilerplate a couple months ago to get my hands dirt with offline first via appcache: http://filtercake.github.io/mobile-boilerplate-timetable-3/
• it's live at http://filtercake.github.io/mobile-boilerplate-timetable-3/ (looks kind of weird in desktop browser – intention is to use mobile and install to home screen
• today i dabbled a bit with force-updating the appcache manifest via a small node script: https://gist.github.com/filtercake/7421fb8096c7c0c229de
• for jekyll/gh-pages: manifest can also be force-processed by jekyll and timestamp inserted with {{ site.time }}
