http://geekfeminism.wikia.com/wiki/Conference_anti-harassment/Responding_to_reports Geek Feminism Wiki is a great resource; a lot of their anti-harassment policy stuff is targeted towards conferences/in-person events, but they're worth reading through anyway as we build an abuse reporting system for our OSS projects.
Also, to address your issue info: I think we should send reports to a subset of people in the organization who have the authority to do something about them, under an email alias so that if different individuals step up/down from the abuse committee we don't have to update our docs :)
Should be good now. Closing the issue.
Currently the Contributors Covenant (CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md) for this project lists daron@meetup.com as the point of contact for reporting conduct violations. We should decide whether abuse reports should to individual(s) or to the organization (i.e. conductabuse@meetup.com) and make the necessary changes.
