MEGAcmd and Synology DS718+ #440

Hello team! I'm trying to use MEGAcmd on my Synology DS718+ like in sync mode and backup mode. I get the same problem every time. Syncing stops 2-3% after it starts. Then MAGAcmd behaves very strangely. And this is not a problem with the RAM in the device its 16Gb and in use only 3.5-5Gb I have read a huge number of forums and the problem of this nature is not only for me. The fact is that I can't run Mega in the GUI without another system participating, which is completely illogical from the point of view of resource usage. In the Synology repository version 1.0.0 and update it to a newer one, I have no way. Maybe this is the reason? What should I do? I specifically bought a subscription to use a reliable backup service, and here's the story :(

I tried syncing the same data via MEGA desktop everything works as expected.

Team one more question: maybe I can connect to Mega storage with other protocols? Rsync, WebDAV and etc. ??? Better of course native MEGAcmd.... but how can update it??

Is the project closed?

Hi, a new version is queued with Synology for testing before it gets deployed to their Package Center. But you can investigate what it is doing by manually starting the mega-cmd-server with command line parameter --debug-full, and collect the console output. Please do let us know what you find (or send the logs to support for analysis). thanks
