FTP and Rsync don't work no permission #545

Good day

I installed Megacmd on Linux Ubuntu 20.04. Then I connected my account and made an FTP connection. I mounted the connection and then I was able to create and delete files.

Now I have tried to make a backup with Rsync to make data from a folder on the Linux system onto this mounted volume. However, that doesn't work.

Error: chown "path / xxxx filename failed: Operation not permitted (1) There seems to be a problem with the rights. Could you help me with that?

Hi Skyfay, I am having the same problem, were you able to Rsync to a MEGA folder? could you share a command if you have one working? Thanks

Sorry, that was 3 years ago. I no longer use the service and don't know if I was able to fix the problem back then.
