When I click on Pause in the "transfer manager" (pause button in the bottom left beside the "cancel all" one), I noticed a high CPU usage in the task manager and the fact that download is still happening in the background.
I managed to get around this by manually pausing every download (by right clicking then pause transfer) and not clicking on the aforementioned Pause button. This way, the task manager doesn't show any high CPU usage nor download in the background.
I use Windows 10 Pro ver. 1703 (15063.608).
