[Linux] Tray Icon Displayed with White Square Background #645

Hi Guys,

the megasync tray icon on my linux system looks kinda odd. The normal tray icon is shown with white squared background which is probably a display bug. Doesn't look that nice, especially when using a dark theme. Screenshot can be seen here: screen

This is my system configuration:

OS: Manjaro Linux x86_64 Kernel: 5.14.10-1-MANJARO Resolution: 2560x1440 DE: GNOME 40.5 WM: Mutter WM Theme: Matcha-dark-aliz Theme: Matcha-dark-aliz [GTK2/3] Icons: Papirus-Dark-Maia [GTK2/3] megasync version: 4.5.3-1

Does somebody have a fix for that?

Hello,

It looks as if that particular gnome shell is misbehaving with painting our transparent-background svg's for Qt's tray icon. We will soon be working towards supporting tray icon via gnome shell extension which will be less likely to cause such issues.
