Can't delete MEGAsync.log file from desktop

A MEGAsync.log file recently appeared on my desktop out of the blue.

When I try to delete it I get the following error:

Does anyone know how can I delete this file?

This is due to debug logging being turned on in MEGAsync. Go to your Settings dialog, account tab, and click 5 times on the Pro/Free account type icon to toggle it on or off. When it's off, you can delete the log. thanks

I clicked 5 times on that icon and nothing happened. After that I was able to delete the file although there was no indication anywhere whether I had the debug logging on or off.
