Tranfer volume does not match used data #858

I am using the Sync-Client for syncing one of my folders. I did not have much issues before, but now I got a new device where I have to do a full sync of that folder to the new machine. I am aware that there is a transfer quota for my account (but it is not fully clear what the actual amount is also because it depends on serval factors). But what does not make sense is that the Sync-Client shows an amount of transfer-volume used that does not nearly match the actually used data. The Sync-Client reports 12GB while the actual downloaded size (until this point) is about ~1.5GB.

Another issue is that the Client gets unresponsive sometimes without beeing clear what should be the reason.

As I understand it, the transfer amount is the total downloaded and uploaded from/to your account - regardless of how those transfers happened. If you have shared any files, transfers of those (i.e. downloads by others) will be included in the number. Likewise some of your quota will be burned by "Sync Debris" where you have deleted files on one or another side of the Sync pairing downloaded and if you've used other tools like mega-cmd and the like these.
