I'm on Zorin OS 17 with gnome+wayland. I have installed Megasync from flathub from the zorin app store. I'm getting error messages and when opening the status windows of Megasync app it just disappear (abended in background).

Here are the messages :

bt@zorifice:~$ flatpak run nz.mega.MEGAsync Avoiding wayland Gtk-Message: 11:59:08.426: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module" Gtk-Message: 11:59:08.426: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module" qt.qpa.qgnomeplatform: Could not find color scheme "" Qt: Session management error: Could not open network socket Qt: Session management error: Could not open network socket

The client appear in the dock, but I can't use it.

What's the problem ??? Any solution ???

Regards, BT

But the .deb package is working OK!

I actually have the same issue either from repository and external package. I am on EndeavourOS (arch) with hyprland+waybar. I tried to install "megasync" (which apparently does not work) and then

megasync-nopdfium and the .pkg.tar.zts package for arch

both install properly but then when I try to launch it I get

$ megasync
Avoiding wayland

no other info.
