Why not do the both (every thing would have the both sources in 2 different versions)?? You are making a test application, so both would be prefered, especially you want also to demonstrate how could protocol oriented programming make this interchangable easily (this is the concept of Clean Architecture)

I totally agree with you. And I'll do both. but I need one of them to be live, as I will use this app in my daily app as my assistant too. but ofc I'll do both in the repo.
