NewStory: Fix various bugs identified in DaisyReaderAlpha001 #70

The project team are testing the new Alpha of the DaisyReader app. We want to 
fix key bugs as part of the current 'sprint'. 

This story is to enable the team to track the bug fixes. 

This is the target app we are using
