In your hostsettings.json, is the folder path pointing to a valid profit trailer directory?

digicoingroup commented 6 years ago

Hello,

Thanks for the question. I'll show you what the file looks like:

Here's the desktop:

Is that right? Do I need to change any of the settings?

Sorry, am I being silly? I still can't see them.

smoochy commented 6 years ago

No, same here. I think, digi is replying to github via email and attaching the screenshots into the email. Which does not seem to work.

@digicoingroup can you please add the pictures via the github website, not reply via email?

smoochy commented 6 years ago

Please quickly remove that screenshot again, as your licence key can be seen.

digicoingroup commented 6 years ago

Thanks, I had 100% opaque blockage on the highlighter. What's the best way to effectively block that info?

smoochy commented 6 years ago

Remove the key from the file, take the screenshot, add it again.

mehtadone commented 6 years ago

@digicoingroup . I removed your comment just as it had license info.

Couple of things to check:

  1. Your serverurl line has localhost with a space. Remove the space.
  2. Are you running with the same user? The folder you are pointing to is admin.
  3. Can you check that the application.properties file is in that directory.
digicoingroup commented 6 years ago

Got it! Makes sense.

digicoingroup commented 6 years ago

Space removed: image

Is that right?

digicoingroup commented 6 years ago

Revised screenshoot: image

digicoingroup commented 6 years ago

I hope this answers the "Can you check that the application.properties file is in that directory." image

digicoingroup commented 6 years ago

I don't believe I've made any changes regarding..."Are you running with the same user? The folder you are pointing to is admin." How can I confirm that?

smoochy commented 6 years ago

Try to remove that space:

digicoingroup commented 6 years ago

Ok. Former space returned and later space removed...

digicoingroup commented 6 years ago

Ok. I ran the PT Feeder bot and took these screenshots:

How does it look?

mehtadone commented 6 years ago

Not good but better than previously. Can you try delete ptfeeder.db in your database directory and starting again?

digicoingroup commented 6 years ago

Ok. I did as you advised and here are the results...

That looks good now

digicoingroup commented 6 years ago

Thanks for your help. Any further tweaks or suggestions? I have a lot to learn!
