Multiplayer Server not executing most card logic #512

I recently tried running the multiplayer server (broadly following the instructions at https://www.reddit.com/r/dominion/comments/57zue8/has_anyone_got_multiplayer_to_work_in_androminion/), and it seems essentially non-functional. It runs, populates both with remote players and AIs. and allows play to progress, but aside from giving +cards, +coins, +actions, +buys, it seems no card actually executes. (in the First Game that's run by the default command, for instance, workshop doesn't allow a card to be gained, militia does not force a discard, mine does not trash or gain, etc.)

I've gone back and installed previous versions to test, and it appears this was introduced sometime between the Empires/2nd Editions Pre-Alpha 3 and Pre-Alpha 4 releases. On Pre-Alpha 3, it seems that at least the base and alchemy decks work correctly. I also tried some prosperity cards in that version, and a number failed in a similar manner (bishop failed to trash, mountebank didn't give curses or coppers).

I know there's discussion of reworking the game engine, so it might not be worth putting any effort into fixing this, but i at least wanted to note it here, in case anyone else encountered it. Also, in case there might be a solution I'm unaware of.

I just found out the same problem. But it seems multiplayer has been abandoned?
