I feel like leaching radiation is not high enough of a cost. Radiation becomes somewhat irrelevant once you have a meksuit upgrade, also if you lost some radioactive material when it was transported you could just exploit that to have a spent nuclear waste deleted (eg a quantum engtangloporter loop somewhere far away). If it is going to be implemented it should at least be via an upgrade that uses some fission byproducts (eg polonium, maybe even antimatter pellets) to gate it a bit. Otherwise, people will just build their first reactor in the end and it basically removes all risk of running them.
Describe the the feature you'd like I believe quantum entangloporters should be able to transport radioactive materials, but at a cost, doing so would release radiation in an somewhat small area around the entangloporter as the entangloporters were not designed to handle such materials. This could open up a deluge of new possible mechanics.
Describe alternatives you've considered Other alternatives could include the partial loss of the radioactive materials with much harsher radiation being outputed from the entangloporter or even the requirement of having the channel for the entangloporters needing to be powered to allow the transport of the materials.
