- Vanilla in world fluid interactions
- Laser tractor beam to break the blocks and collect them
I've totally forgot about the lasers. They can be totally be used for this task, but i like the idea of a machine for this, reducing lag(less things processing) and better to create automatic crafting.
Another idea i had is to use the Pressurized Reaction Chamber, combining two fluids (water and lava), but without an item on the middle.
Describe the feature you'd like
The feature is a new machine that would take two liquid inputs would consume and energy, generating a block from them. The only use case i could think of it is to create cobblestone, stone and obsidian, from water and lava.
Describe alternatives you've considered
This idea is totally based on the Igneous Extruder from Thermal Expansion
Additional context
This feature could also expand and be used together with #219 in order to increase a little bit of complexity, so the cobblestone generator upgrade would need an infinite source of water and lava or something like that
The main reason of this is to create obsidian, to be used later to create refined obsidian dust — having to dig cobblestones is a bit of a pain.
The cobblestone generator would also be a good way to generate trash: I was playing with the Applied Energistics 2 mod and i needed to feed a machine with 256k items in order to create one item. An infinite cobblestone generator owuld be perfect for this case
I've tried to setup the mekanism project on my machine to work on a pull request for this feature, but i've encontered some problems on the build process. If i could get some help with this setup, I would like to work on this feature.
