4 years ago So a regular brewing stand uses Blaze Rods for power while “brewing” the components into said potion/mekanism variant. Could the blaze powder be put into like gas, say Blaze Rod into a Chemical Oxidizer then pump that (blaze powder fluid/gas?) into Brewing Machine (factory upgrades too) that would process said materials into the potion. Could add side slots for Glowstone + Redstone for extended/upgraded effects. (Especially if they could be pumped in via pipes) All While the machine still runs on power of course. Think this would be a neat idea to add to spice up vanilla MC!
Whilst Mekanism is a technology mod and potions obviously lean towards magic, one vanilla machine that I wish had a mekanism machine equivalent is the brewing stand. Gathering blaze powder to heat it up feels like something that could be done with power instead, and there could then be a factory version as well perhaps. I would imagine the GUI would be similar to the combiner, rather than an infuser, due to the nature of potion recipes.
If the whole 'magic' aspect is too much, there could be science-y equivalents to the potions added instead, or perhaps the mekanism machine creates vials or serums that grant the potion effect, which may be more in line with the general feel/aesthetic of mekanism. This would obviously involve a lot more work though.
