Machines can automatically output Items into near Chests or Barrels without an Transporter, so why not an automatic input? You could make complex machine setups alot smaller, when u dont have to put an extra Logical Transporter for an Chest.

If this is not possible, Mekanism should add some Chests in their Mod or change the Personal Chest a bit. Just add at the right side a little Panel, where you can activate the "Automatic Input" and the Slot, similar to the Mek Machines.
