As of right now, at least on 1.16.5, items going though a logistical transporter will not be able to enter a personal chest set to private. Maybe logistical sorters should be be able to add tags to items such as "Private" or "Public". For example, a logistical sorter set to "private" will add a "private" tag to sorted items. so when they are passed along to a personal chest owned by the same person, the personal chest will be able to receive the items regardless of its privacy setting.

Alternatively. Just allow personal chests to receive items regardless of its setting, and leave the private, trusted, and public setting on a personal chest to only apply to player entities.
