I noticed a similar problem when using my mini 10v. I didn't change any
settings but
when using the arrow keys to scroll pages (particularly the down arrow) I have
had a
few kernel panics. I am also using 0.8.3RC3.

I have the same issue, on two separate genuine OS X / Apple machines, one brand
new
out of the box. Only common things between them that I can think of is they're
both
snow leopard, they both were using the same Microsoft natural 4000 keyboard,
and they
both had the logitech control center installed (for the same logitech mouse.)
They
both also had repeat/delay set to shortest/fastest. I do not think this is
related
to netbook-installer, but damned if I can figure out what it IS related to.

I have the same problem with mini 10v 0.8.3. i've had problems when I used
arrow keys mostly up and down.
Both have caused so far,, not sure about left and right.
It's kinda annoying,,, of course it doesn't happen when I use usb mouse,,

Yesterday, I had the same problem again with my mini 9(0.8.3). This time
backspace caused the kernel panic. As
far as I know, I do not have any issue with this kernel panic after I have
setup 'key repeat rate' one level down
from its maximum speed. I hope I won't see that screen again. A little annoying
not being able to use the fastest
key repeat rate, but better than having a kernel panic,,,

Oh, lol. I thought I wouldn't have any more kernel panic,,, Changing the key
repeat rate ain't fix this problem :( I
just saw another kernel panic.I shouldn't use the arrow keys anymore if I don't
wanna see that screen again.

I'm also experiencing this problem. I thought the KP's were random until I
read this
thread. Now i'm almost positive its occurring while scrolling via my arrow
keys.
Console does not show anything useful upon reboot. I've even tried reverting
back to
DellEFI trackpad drivers without success, so its not the trackpad drivers for
sure.

I can also say my Mini9 on 10.6.2 gets this. The feedback above seems to
reflect the
same issue with the randomness/no useful debug. Otherwise, perfect stability.
Doesn't
seem to change with the usual bt/usb bios setting either.

in case this helps anyone / isn't already obvious: i turned off the repeat and
haven't had a KP since. i do miss it,
but it's far better than the frequent KP'ing.

I, too, just figured out the correlation between the KP's and holding down the
down-arrow key to scroll (which
I've been doing since the two-finger trackpad scroll is so jerky.) I'm using a
Mini 10v, running 10.6.3 and 0.8.4
RC1. I've only had it running for two days now, but have had twice as many
KP's over that time period; doesn't
do it *every* time, but often enough to be irritating. FWIW, I'm usually
running Adium and Safari when this
occurs. I'll try killing off the key repeat and see if that fixes it...that
said, it's a feature that I use frequently, so
hopefully this will be fixed (if indeed it's NBI problem and not an OS X
problem).

Just an update...It's been over a week with the key repeat off, and no KP's
since then.

I'm on a Lenovo S10 and am experiencing this every now and then as well. The
Kernel panic happens when scrolling with down-arrow key.

I have this same issue. I'm on a 10v. It happened in 10.6.4 and also now in
10.6.5 as well.
Has happened in Chrome when scrolling down using the arrow keys.
If this got fixed my hackbook would be running perfectly! Any suggestions?
