hibernation doesn't work on 10v 10.6 and/or 10.6.1 #146

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.clean install
2.sleep works
3.deep sleep (hibernation) doesn't

What netbook are you using this on?
mini 10v

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Hibernation

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
10.6 and/or 10.6.1

Please provide any additional information below.
Hibernation hasn't worked for me and is an issue. I need to be able to shut the
lid of my 10v and
have it sleep and possibly hibernate if I forget to charge it before the power
runs out in sleep,
thus saving the files I haven't saved yet.
Furthermore, 10.6 or 10.6.1 don't really boot up very fast, so it's really
annoying to have it boot
up from scratch.

The sleepimage may or may not be written, I can't verify. The chameleon
bootloader doesn't want
to boot from it.

Could you confirm after a reboot that bluetooth or usb legacy is still
disabled. My close lid sleep issues resolved
when I edit the bios and disable settings - I have to do it each time I reboot
- the bios setting change back.

I can confirm that that is not an issue. All the bios settings are retained
after a reboot. Seems odd that your
settings change as these shouldn't be changed during normal operation.
Are you able to hibernate yourself? Cause I have still not been able to. :-(
