NBBM/NBI not installing AppleHDA.kext for DM-9; Chronic Issue

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Happens any/every time NBBM/NBI is used to setup DM-9 on OS X 10.5.x
2.For Sound Preferences -->Input, NBI results Name=InternalMic; Type=Built-in." 
 For Output, 
Name=IntSpeakers; Type=DevShortNameOut.
3.Re-running DellEFI 1.2a5 solves the problem as appears to install 
AppleHDA.kext

What netbook are you using this on? DM-9

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?  OS X 
after 10.5.5.+/-  
Most assuredly with 10.5.6 --> 10.5.8
