What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Plug in external dvd (usb y adapter)
2.Load cd or dvd
3.In under twenty seconds (not timed) the disc will stop - no icon on screen,
no recognition
What netbook are you using this on?
Dell Mini 9 (910)
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?I apologize - I'm not
familiar with what is

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?Dell Mini
9, Bios A05, 2gb
crucial ram, 16 gb stec hd, Mac OS 10.6.2, Dell external dvd drive (newest
model???)
