Resolved KP on D250

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Normal install on Acer aspire one D250-0Bb.
2. Whilst installing from HDD or wherever UTF8 Kernal Panics.
3. Every bios and every time i tried to install

What netbook are you using this on?
Acer Aspire One D250-0Bb

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
KP

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest 0.8.3 Mac osx 10.6.0

Please provide any additional information below.

Resolved by removing battery and installing on power cable. KP logs 
complained about UTF8 charaters and had SANYO in the description, so i put 
2 an 2 toghter and looked at the battery sure enough manufactured by 
Sanyo, Removed KP over installing fine!!

Are you using the NetbookBoot maker 0.8.3.R4? Or booting from a DVD drive. I 
have a
D250 and am stuck as well. I'm going to try the battery trick ASAP.

Hello using net book maker 0.8.3R4, Yea just take the battery out for the 
install

Thanks! I'll give it a go. NOBODY seems to be knowledgeable when it comes to 
this method and the d250. I 
have spent 20hrs scouring the web. Acer Aspire One User Forum is dead.  Do you 
by chance know what BIOS 
version you started out with or if it matters? I think mine came with 1.06.  
I'd like to keep in touch to figure 
out what works and what doesn't on this model. I have installed the HP Wireless 
1510 BCM94322HM8L.  Is 
there a reason to update to 10.6.2? Or should one stay at 10.6.0 or 10.6.1?  
Sorry for all the questions I have 
been struggling to find any info on this and the D250.

I have the Dell DW 1510 min pcie card, but its a no go for me, Tottally not 
working, 

And i have just givin up with it all!! lol. Yea no info at all on the web for 
these babys!, i would stay at 10.6.1 
untill all the issues regarding the atom are ironed out m8.

20 hrs i spent  a week staying up till 5am then back on it at like 1pm, on
