Internal Microphone not functioning with RC5 #176

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Any use.  After fresh boot or after sleep

What netbook are you using this on?
Dell Mini 9

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
new AppleHDA included in RC5 "internal" microphone does not work.  When I plug 
in an external 
mic it does work thru that external mic.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
RC5 on 10.6.2

Please provide any additional information below.
Speaker and Headset work fine.  External Mic works fine.  Internal Mic does not 
function.  When I 
click on it in pref's it shows a quick flash of "sound" and then goes dead.  In 
the meantime I 
installed the AppleHDA that is I believe build 243 of voodoo...one one with the 
pops and clicks 
and it is working fine.
